DIRK HÖPFL
International Development Director

The ieEmbassy project was developed after 2 years working in the International Development role. We started to involve more and more of our alumni and current students in the promotion of IE, and with increasing activities worldwide we were literally bombarding you with e-mails inviting you to support us. So, we decided to structure this process with the ieEmbassy; giving you up to date information regarding upcoming activities and also the opportunity to contact prospective students and candidates. The results of this, you will see in a couple of weeks...

As you know, your support is at the heart of all our efforts to maintain the high quality student profile year by year, and to keep IE amongst the leading business schools of the world. So, please feel invited to join the ieEmbassy and put your input and support helping future students in making the difficult decision regarding the selection of the correct business school.

Share your experience

You most probably have already shared your experiences from your time at IE with your family, with your former classmates, or on alumni meetings…

… but have you ever thought doing this with prospective candidates?

Sharing your experiences and getting involved means:

Sharing your knowledge and your expertise about your IE programme with potential students.
Promoting the IE reputation globally and increase the recognition of the IE brand and your Master title.
Strengthening your personal network by getting in touch with future alumni, and building the IE Community.
Influencing on the shape of the future class of your Master programme.
Influencing on the shape of the future class of your Master programme.

You can share your experience through the ieEmbassy. The aim of the ieEmbassy is to facilitate and enhance the alumni-candidate relationship. Helping via word of mouth to build lasting relationships with future applicants, you can help to strengthen the global IE brand.

Being a member of the ieEmbassy you can help to enhance and grow the IE network. The strength of the IE alumni network is a key element in the decision making process for candidates and recruiters when it comes to chosing IE. Help make the network stronger and wider. This also helps to increase the recognition of your own IE master degree.

Contact between alumni and prospective candidates is one of the critical factors in the decision making process, for many potential applicants looking to choose the right school. Understanding the experiences and the day to day reality of a program is some of the most sought after information for serious candidates, and of course they are interested in the benefits that an IE program provides in terms of career development. You can provide this guidance to candidates in a structured and useful manner via the ieEmbassy.
